ok people my friends band is having some serious problems, i.e. they suck, they dont know how to write songs, and by this i mean they make all the riffs and so on drums and what not, and then try and find somewhere to squeeze the lyrics in and try and make it work, so far...terrible, the one person they have writting lyrics cant write for...well booze i suppose...they all drink far too much which cant help

alas i digress, he needs someone to come up with a poem of some sort that they can put a beat to and work around that as a base, if you think you have a poem that might work then let me know, and make sure you dont mind if they use it (dont worry about royalties i dont think they are going to go all that far)

to get an idea of what they sound like think kinda like bullet for my valentine, slipknot, trivium and your in the right area, it doesnt have to be a poem with a story behind it or even one that makes sence, like half of the slipknot lyrics i love them but i have no idea what the hell they're singing about, i mean,
i felt the hate rise up in me,
knee down and clear a stone of leaves,
i wander out where you can't see,
inside my shell i wait and bleed
ill admit theres a deeper meaning behind it but on the top...wtf are they saying, anyways if anyone can help that would be great, ill post this in the forum should i get a change, toodles people
